Sky Village is extending our World Cultures Summer Camp to Astoria Park Track & Field, offering soccer classes after 4PM for children 4 to 8 years old!

Little Strikers (Ages 4–5)

A fun introduction to soccer through games, movement, and imagination! Young players will build coordination, confidence, teamwork, and fundamental soccer skills in a positive, encouraging environment.

Elite Youth Soccer Academy (Ages 6–8)

Designed for players who are ready to develop their game! Children will improve their dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, agility, and soccer IQ while learning from a professional coach in a supportive, small-group setting.

Our first week of Summer Camp was a HUGE SUCCESS thanks to my amazing team!!! Our 21st St. location provides ample space and quality air conditioning helping our kids stay cool during these crazy hot summer days. This summer was our first time creating a coloring book for the kids - which I'm super happy with because it includes all of the soccer clubs, artists and recipes that we will be learning about this summer! Manuela trains in kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, and MMA as part of her ongoing personal and athletic growth. With the powerful support of her community, she stepped into the ring for the first time — achieving a long-held dream and earning a gold medal victory.

This experience didn’t just result in a win — it deepened her passion, strengthened her discipline, and fueled her commitment to continue competing and evolving as an athlete.

Meet Shasta Molnar, an artist, educator, founder and creative force behind Sky Village NYC, a community-centered arts and enrichment program serving children and families in Queens, New York. Through after-school programs, summer camps, creative workshops, and community partnerships, she has built a vibrant platform where art, culture, movement, and mindfulness come together to support the whole child.

Shasta holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She began her career teaching art and theater at Rowland Hall Elementary School, where she developed her passion for hands-on, experiential learning. After relocating to New York City in 2005, she worked as a family nanny for Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick while continuing to develop her artistic practice. What began as commissioned dog portraits evolved into a professional painting career, with exhibitions at the Provincetown Art Association in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and Mountain Trails Art Gallery in Sedona, Arizona.

Rooted in both creative vision and operational leadership, Shasta has grown Sky Village NYC into a multifaceted community hub — blending visual arts, sports, cultural programming, and mindful education. Her work reflects a deep commitment to empowering children through creativity while building meaningful partnerships within the Queens community.

As a devoted mother and business owner, Shasta is recognized for her resilience, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to creating spaces where families feel connected, supported, and inspired.
