The Transfusion. A favorite of President Dwight D. Eisenhower while he was on the golf course, hasn’t skipped a beat in all those years but why is it called a transfusion?
Well, it’s supposedly the cure for a hangover. Your 1.5 oz of vodka is the “hair of the dog.” 2 oz of ginger ale offers carbonation that, with ginger root, helps soothe nausea. 1 oz of grape juice has electrolytes to regenerate the body and the lime juice balances all the flavors out for the perfect cocktail. Not enough of it, you’ll play bad golf. Too many, you’ll play even worse golf. Just the right amount, lights out!!
