Some of the fun stationery I picked up in NYC!!

My sister and I spent 6 days in New York and basically went from coffee shop to stationery store.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And every night, we’d come back to our hotel room, unpack our goodies to look at them and play with them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you love stationery like us, then you know the giddy feeling of finding a fun sticker sheet or a new pen colour. Stationery is a way for me to reconnect to my inner child, and putting together this post was a fun way to remind myself of the gifts I was able to get for myself! My inner child is very happy.

If you want to get into junk journaling or even creative journaling, here are some of the “junk” and scraps that I picked up during my trip to NYC.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I always keep an eye open when I’m out and about for any pieces that have a nice pattern or texture that I could potentially use, even partially, for my creative journaling spreads.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are some ideas of junk to pick up:
- Business or loyalty cards
- Unique wrappers with the name of the bakery/coffee shop
- Paper bags with the name of the shop or with unique patterns
- Luggage tags and boarding pass
- Branded stickers from shops you go to
- Label stickers that bakeries or coffee shops might be using for their packaging!
