Empowered Sports and Fitness was founded by Michael Shipper and is a unique sports and fitness program for boys and girls pre-K through high school. Our program focuses on Long-Term Physical Fitness Development. We help kids actively pursue excellence in small managable increments through the method of EMPOWERMENT. We teach kids how to move properly thereby reducing risk of injury, how to focus on continual improvement not performance, and develop a long-term love for exercise. We have reconceptualized the traditional definition of what constitutes "success" by focusing on the joy and innocence of what being active is truly about. Overall, our objective is to enable any child, regardless of ability or background, to have an enriching, active experience.
