“Z’est La Vie” 🍋✨It was one year ago, I started with a vision, plenty of ideas and a belief that our hardest seasons can hold something meaningful.

The reality? The messy middle has taught me things I couldn’t have learned from a plan.

That purpose doesn’t guarantee certainty. That progress isn’t always visible. That patience and action can coexist. And that we weren’t meant to figure everything out alone.

LemonAid is still growing, and so am I. I’m learning to trust the vision, stay open to the lessons and keep showing up, even when the way forward isn’t entirely clear.

If you’re in your own messy middle, this is your reminder that you don’t need to have it all figured out to take the next step.

Here’s to making something meaningful from life’s squeezes. 💛

What has the messy middle taught you?

“To talk or not to talk” 🙊 Some conversations are easy to have. Others? Not so much.

Over the last few weeks, working with clients across the globe, one theme has kept coming up: courageous conversations.

Different people, different circumstances, but often the same fundamentals. Listening well. Challenging our assumptions. Staying curious when we disagree and finding the courage to say what needs to be said.

The messy middle is often where we get stuck. We know something needs to be addressed, but we’re unsure how the other person will respond, what it might change, or where the conversation might lead.

It’s tempting to avoid the discomfort altogether. But sometimes, the clarity we’re looking for is on the other side of the conversation we’re avoiding.

So, what conversation might you need to stop avoiding and start approaching with curiosity?

If you’d like support navigating it, DM me to arrange a complimentary clarity call and explore how 1:1 coaching could help.

“To talk or not to talk?” 🍋 We’ve all been there. Knowing a conversation needs to happen, but putting it off because we’re worried about how it might go.

What if we get it wrong? What if they take it the wrong way? What if things become uncomfortable?

But avoiding a conversation doesn’t always avoid the discomfort. Sometimes, it just delays it.

The shift? Start with curiosity rather than assumptions. Listen to understand, be honest about what matters to you, and make room for a perspective different from your own.

You can’t control how someone responds, but you can choose how you show up.

“Better Together”

You never really know how far a small act of kindness can travel.

A message at the right moment.
A coffee. A listening ear. A hug.

What feels small to you might mean everything to someone else. Sometimes we all just need a little encouragement in our struggles.

And sometimes, the person you help today carries that kindness forward and becomes someone else’s safe place tomorrow.

That’s the ripple effect.

You don’t have to change the world all at once. Just make a difference in the little corner of it you’re standing in.

Share this with someone who’s been part of your ripple? And tag someone whose life you could you make a little lighter today? 🍋

“The American Dream” ~ 7 years later 🇺🇸 It was 7 years ago today, I moved to America.

I arrived with a dream, a suitcase, a green card and absolutely no idea how the story would unfold.

I knew nobody. I had no roadmap. And I certainly didn’t have all the answers.

But I was never content living in bands of beige.
I wanted a life in technicolor.

So I chose to take a (BIG) risk.
The reinvention, the unknown and the messy middle.

The lemons kept rolling and I’ve questioned that decision along the way.

But today, I’m grateful for the struggles that stretched me, the strength they uncovered, and all the surprises I could never have planned for.

And 7 years later, I’m still here... building and becoming.

There have been extraordinary highs, unexpected lows, detours, delays, heartbreak, breakthroughs and plenty of moments when ‘The American Dream’ looked nothing like I imagined yet I’d not change this adventure for anything else.

That’s the thing about dreams…it’s not always the destination.

It’s the life you build while finding your way there.

“The Messy Middle of Grief” ~ Remembering the lives lost on 9/11 and the families, survivors, first responders, rescue and recovery workers, and communities whose lives were forever changed.

25 years later, grief may look different. It’s one of the messiest middle seasons but it can still arrive with clarity, tenderness, and the weight of someone deeply missed.

These frames reflect one possible journey: the vividness of what was, the emptiness loss creates, and the gentler way we may eventually learn to hold memory.

There is no right timeline and no single way to grieve.

“The Unity of Us” ❤️‍🩹

On the eve of the 25th anniversary, I’m reflecting on the stories shared by the communities who lived through the tragedy, the rawness of it all, and the strength that emerged in the aftermath.

Every day, when I walk past the New York skyline, I’m reminded that it holds memories, lives, loss, courage and stories that continue to be carried forward. It also reminds me of the powerful way communities came together—and, in many ways, grew even closer.

That reflection connects with my latest episode, where I explore the messy middle: those uncertain, painful and unfinished moments of life, and how connection and community can help us move through them.

There is unity in community. 🇺🇸

If it feels meaningful to you, the episode is available via the link in my bio. 🕊️
