I love FB on my birthday. All you amazing friends from near and far, both in a geographical sense and time sense, sending your wishes…. Never gets old. 50 is been fabulous so far—lots of delicious food and wine and conversation and love love love.
And, who knows, maybe someday there will be a way to virtually bring all of you wonderful humans together in one place because I realize so many of you haven’t ever met?!? That’s a future I’m excited to stick around for (there’s so much I want to “stick around for” these days :))

With best wishes and big love always xoxo

MEET THE ARTISTS - The thirteenth in a series.

Justin Cornell is the producer of No Provenance. He is also the sound designer. And he wrote all these "meet the artists" posts, including this final one.

Justin would love it if you came to the final performance this afternoon at 5:45 at the Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street, New York). This is your last chance ever to see the show, and there are still seats left, so use up those vouchers, flex passes, participant tickets, and five-finger discounts. Just be there: https://www.facebook.com/events/718036328245251/

Justin Cornell is producing a FringeNYC show for the first time. He has previously written and produced two plays in the Planet Connections Festival: Getting Away With It (for which he won an Outstanding Short-Form Playwriting award), directed by Christina Balkovic, and Nothing’s Going To Happen. He has stage managed three shows for director Kate Holland: Bongani by Gabrielle Maisels, June and Nancy by Michelle Ramoni, and Clear Cold Place by Caroline Prugh. No Provenance is the fifth FringeNYC show he has done since 2010. He is grateful for the work of the cast & crew.

MEET THE ARTISTS - The eleventh in a series

Ernesto Alicea is the costume designer for No Provenance. This is not a photo of Ernesto, but of four actresses wearing his designs.

Ernesto R. Alicea (Costume Designer) is ending a four year hiatus from wardrobe. Fate has recently spun his life in an interesting direction, and he has taken this show as a true gift. He is extremely grateful for this opportunity to work on such a smart and thoughtful play. It was a pleasure dressing this beautiful cast of women. [email protected]

MEET THE ARTISTS - The tenth in a series.

Ashley Greiner is the stage manager and lighting designer for No Provenance.

Ashley (Stage Manager/Lighting Designer) is thrilled to be working on her first FringeNYC show. She is currently pursuing her BA in Theater Design & Production at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Ashley would like to thank the beautiful production team and cast of No Provenance. She only wishes that she could continue to sit next to Kate Holland for a few hours every night. She would also like to thank Rachel Budin, Jason Hughes and Luc Stampleman at Ramapo for mentoring her. And her partner in crime, Nick Cornwell, for the love and support.

This was published a few weeks ago-- an essay by Martin Denton about FringeNYC - The New York International Fringe Festival: http://nytheaternow.com/Content/Article/why-fringenyc-matters

I begin with the assumption that we agree that FringeNYC is in fact of some significance, which I now back up with a batch of statistics?a longevity of 17 years and counting; 3,000+ shows involving literally tens of thousands of artists; an enormous audience that ranks it among the top five or six c…

Another favorable review is in, from NY Theater Now! Cheryl King calls No Provenance "a very satisfying performance."

(Full disclosure: Cheryl King has worked with Kate Holland, Justin Cornell, and Michelle Ramoni before, as dramaturg for Michelle's play June and Nancy.)

When sisters fight, it’s distressing. When they fight over who loved who best, it’s alarming. When the fates get involved, it becomes high drama.
