Stay humble and kind, even when life pushes back. Let resistance build your peace, never your anger. There’s growth within this discipline.

I still struggle in moments or situations when they first arise but have become significantly better with putting the focus on him when something isn’t working out instead of it allowing it to control my feelings, emotions, or words or acts of temptations toward others.

An example I heard was in study a few weeks ago with the story being about a lost suitcase and instead of becoming angry or upset with TSA employees, he stopped and thought of god and calmed down and simply said “thank you, it’s okay.”
