Introducing: Pardal

Dr. Jordan Seda, aka ‘Pardal’, is a licensed physical therapist for over 11 years in NYC. He has been practicing capoeira for 7 years under Mestre Gordinho as part of Capoeira Guatambu is currently corda ‘laranja-azul’. Pardal has traveled to various countries to participate in capoeira events and even competed in the 2023 German Open where he finished 3rd place in his category. He believes that capoeira has allowed him to gain confidence, demonstrate his athleticism and formulated a new appreciation for movement that he implements into his everyday clinical practice as a PT.

Introducing Primavera ☀️

Clàudia Jou

Claudia Garcia Jou was born and raised in Barcelona. At the age of 15 moved to a professional training center just a few miles outside of Barcelona (Sant Cugat). Her track and field career then took her in 2014 to compete for the University of Akron in Ohio. Once she graduated from her masters degree in 2016 she moved to New York City to pursue a PhD in Neuroscience. She graduated in 2025 and is now a Postdoctoral Fellow studying Epilepsy.
