Manhattan Community Boathouse

Manhattan Community Boathouse We are an all-volunteer nonprofit organization providing free public kayaking on the Hudson River. Paddle with us at Pier 96 in Hudson River Park.

We offer free kayaking as an introduction to the recreational boating opportunities in Manhattan and to help connect the public with the New York City waterfront. Our organization is made possible by the efforts of our all-volunteer staff and public donations.

The MCBH team has been hard at work getting ready for opening weekend! Our pre-season to-do list included patching and prepping kayaks, deploying new buoys, dock maintenance and stenciling new life jackets. We also had our annual boat and safety gear inspection from our friends at !
