I travel in this shirt everywhere I go. I want everyone to know how much I love my city, the people, the pulse, the power, the purpose. I moved to on July 12, 2001 with my bestie Stephanie Steele just 3 months before September 11th. It was a day filled with contrasts. Beauty and horror. Love and hate. Lightness and darkness. Calm and chaos. Though it was terrifying, it was also life-affirming. The city unified into one community who helped each other. Celebrated each other. Thanked each other. Talked to each other. Hugged each other. Loved each other. It was an extraordinary moment in time with the best of humanity showing up to repair the unimaginable damage created by the worst in humanity. I feel immense gratitude to and for every neighbor, business owner, bodega and restaurant worker, and especially the first responders and all the helpers who gave so much, including in many cases their own lives, to save and serve others. I salute their heroism, their spirit, their generosity, their selflessness, their kindness, and their courage. May we never forget not just the bad on that day, but also the good. That’s what I hope we can access and expand again. Shana Tova… May this be a sweet, safe, healthy, happy, connected, loving New Year #911 I ❤️ NY

3 years ago today, my book, “The Choice is Yours,” was released from the grip of my inner “Perfectionist” and into the world!! Writing a book, or doing anything where you’re pouring your full self into it, is vulnerable. It took me 10 years to actually get this done. And there was one point where I finally made the CHOICE to stop fussing over the minutia and my own fears, which was just keeping this message and these tools hidden, and share what I had to give with all of you. CHOOSING to get out of my own way, to trust that I, and what I had written was enough, and to release any attachment to the outcome, all while staying aligned with my purpose - to create connection for myself and others - was the teaching of the book in motion. I continue to be a an imperfect student of this work, as it’s a practice, not a destination, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep learning and growing and supporting others to do the same every day. 18 years ago today I became certified as a coach. My gratitude runs over and over for every client, every challenge, every triumph, every lesson, and every person who supported me along the way. I am beyond humbled and astounded that I get to live this blessed and full life every single day. I don’t have enough words to describe how meaningful this moment is for me. I very much believe and live by the knowing that each of us has a blueprint within and that is what is seeking to be expressed in this world.
