Thank you to all our families who danced with us and all of our staff who helped to create memories. Stage Door Dance Academy NY was a studio where dancers could further develop their love and passion for their art. Our students were taught to better themselves through class education along with staff mentoring and emotional development. Our studio was housed at the same establishment for the past
7 years. Unfortunately, due to the COVID pandemic, we had to shut our doors and are no longer at that location. We look forward to possibly opening up at a new location in the future. We thank and appreciate all our dance families who have decorated our studio in the past years! Along with helping to nurture dancers, we had a fabulous staff of Dancers and Choreographers who helped to mold our students. The Owner, Artistic Director and main Teacher of our studio is Nanette E. Nanette has over 35 years of experience. She has her teaching certificate from Susquehanna University and is Dance Educators of America certified. In addition to Nanette, we have several teachers and assistants. Our studio is offered classes on all different levels in Creative Movement, Ballet, Pointe, Street Tap, Broadway Jazz, Hip Hop Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Strength Training for the Dancer, Acro, Cheer Funk, Break Dancing, Irish Step Dance, Zumba, and Ballroom. In addition to being a recreational dance studio, Stage Door Dance Academy NY is also home to our competitive dance team OPUS I. Our dance team is award winning, and we competed all over. Come check us out, we have the trophies, plaques, awards, and ribbons to prove it. We are very proud of each and every dancer we have had in our establishment.
