Fat isn’t something your body simply stores—it’s an essential part of how your body functions. 🥑

Healthy dietary fats support your brain and cells, help with hormone production, and allow your body to absorb the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K.

The type of fat matters, too. Prioritizing sources of unsaturated fats such as olive oil, avocado, nuts, seeds, and fatty fish can support cardiovascular health as part of an overall balanced diet.

Rather than fearing fat, focus on choosing quality sources and incorporating them into balanced meals.

What’s your favorite source of healthy fats? 🥑🫒🐟🥜

We all have that inner voice, let’s call it our conscience or intuition, that guides us in the right direction and helps us to discern right from wrong. However, we don’t always listen to that voice and tend to suffer the consequences immediately or at some later point in life. This can all be avoided if we just take a moment each day to practice and tune into ourselves. This way we can exercise that intuitive muscle and then perhaps during those tough decision making events, we’ll find it much easier to listen to what our gut is telling us to do, because we’ll be well trained in listening to it. Give it a try!

Looking for a simple habit with big benefits?

Try taking a 5–10 minute walk after your meals.

Post-meal walks can support healthy blood sugar regulation, aid digestion, increase your daily movement, and leave you feeling more energized after eating.

Health doesn’t always require major changes.

Sometimes it’s the small, consistent habits that make the biggest difference.

Training isn’t just about moving more weight — it’s about understanding which muscles you’re training, how they function, and how they work together.

Train muscles for more than aesthetics.

Build strength that supports how you move.

Your body is the vehicle that allows you to move, work, travel, explore, connect, and experience life.

Training isn’t only about getting stronger or improving how you look.

It’s about increasing what your body is capable of—so you can continue doing the things that matter to you.

Build strength. Build resilience. Build capacity for life.

We often believe we need to wait until the “perfect” moment to get started with a new goal when the funny thing is that the “perfect” time will never come. It’s often best to just get started, in as an intelligent way as possible, and make your adjustments and tweaks along the way as you learn.

Learning and making mistakes throughout the process is where the life changing knowledge and experience comes into play. That is often the most rewarding part of a new journey.

So whether you’re waiting to make changes to your nutrition, begin an exercise routine, start doing cardio, just start. And as you get into the routine, you’ll perfect the process as best works for you.

Every assessment starts with understanding how your body moves.

One of the first areas I evaluate is the relationship between the pelvis, SI joints, and hips—not because everyone needs to be perfectly symmetrical, but because movement tells a story.

I’m looking at how your body distributes force, where it compensates, and how different areas work together during movement.

Those findings help us create a program that’s individualized to your body, your goals, and your needs.
