Can’t believe this is real 🤯

Words aren’t enough to express my gratitude for being featured in

I remember spending hours flipping through the pages, desperately searching for the best workout routines, diets, and tips I could use to accelerate my progress.

Never in my life did I imagine that I would one day be on the other end of the stick…

I’m over joyed 😆

Here’s the truth about sugar…

❌ If you’re cutting back on sugar to lose fat you’re making a big mistake…

🙅🏻‍♂️It’s unrealistic to think that you could completely remove sugar from your diet and stick to that long term.

🤔 Even if you manage to exercise willpower and lose weight by removing sugar from your diet…

🧐 What’s your plan when you want to treat yourself to a dessert?

🍩 Or indulge in delicious foods without totally sabotaging your progress?

🎯 The truth is you need balance and flexibility with your nutrition if you want your results to be permanent.

✅ If the ‘sugary’ foods you desire fit into your calories / macros, then you can eat them guilt-free while making progress.

P.S. I’m not saying that excessive sugar isn’t harmful.. but if your diet plan cuts out all the foods you love, then you likely won’t be able to stick with it in the long-haul.

If you’re trying to lose weight without having to exercise, then you need to read this 👇

❗️Since fat loss is a matter of calories in vs. calories out, then it makes sense that you could achieve this by manipulating your nutrition.

👉 While you CAN skip out on exercise and still lose fat, here’s 3 reasons why this approach will do more harm than good.

1️⃣ You’ll lose muscle— if you remove training stimulus from your routine, then you’ll encourage your body to burn muscle for energy as it’s no longer needed.

2️⃣ You’ll need to cut calories and restrict your eating— exercise burns calories (obviously). If you stop exercising, then you’ll burn less calories and therefore need to reduce your food intake.

3️⃣ You’ll ‘slow down’ your metabolism— meaning that your basal metabolic rate will drop (BMR). When you lose muscle, the amount of calories you burn on a daily basis will go down significantly.

‼️Just because you CAN do something doesn’t mean you SHOULD…

✅ Fortunately, you DON’T have to track every single calorie you eat if your goal is to lose weight.

❌ It’s not for everyone, and most people won’t find it sustianable long term.

‼️ I’m NOT saying tracking your calories is unimportant; you should have an idea of how many calories you’re consuming on a daily basis.

👉 But if you’re looking to lose weight and can’t quite grasp the idea of calorie / macro counting, then implement these simple steps and you’ll start to see your weight move in the right direction.

Did you know walking is one of the most efficient ways to torch fat? 🔥

‼️ You burn way more calories by hitting 10k steps daily than if you went through a typical weight training session.

✅ As an added bonus, walking won’t impair your recovery (critical if you don’t want to lose muscle) like other more intense forms of cardio.

🗒Important Note: you still have to be in a calorie deficit to lose fat. Walking alone won’t help if you have poor habits around diet / nutrition.

The uncomfortable truth 😳

👉 NO specific food is making you fat… not carbs, not sugar, not fat, none of that

💯 At the end of the day it boils down to calories in vs. calories out

❌ Too much of ANY food will cause weight gain, even lean proteins like fish, chicken, etc.

📈 If you want to lose fat, then you need to burn more calories than you consume (calorie deficit). It’s the law of thermodynamics.

✅ Instead of vilifying certain foods or food groups, learn how to incorporate them into your nutrition plan. As long as you stay in a calorie deficit, you don’t have to cut out any foods at all.

Most people actually know what they need to do to get in shape.

You don’t need to read an encyclopedia on nutrition to know that salad is better for you than french fries.

So why aren’t more people in great shape? 🤔

I don’t think it’s just a matter of laziness. Although sometimes that’s the case 🤷🏻‍♂️

Instead, many people are confused.

Confused because of all the information out there, but not knowing how to put it all together ❌

It’s like giving someone who’s never baked cookies all the ingredients... but not the directions.

You hand them a bunch of flour, eggs, sugar, etc. Then say, “figure out how to make a cookie out of this.”

How likely are they to succeed?

You can have the individual ingredients.

But if you don’t know how much of each ingredient to use, how to mix them, how long to bake, what temperature to use, etc, you’d be totally lost.

Most of my clients don’t really get radical ‘new’ ideas for how to get in shape.

The reason why they lose weight and keep it off permanently is I show them how all the pieces go together ✅

From the types of foods to eat, the ratio of nutrients, the exercises to do, what order, etc.

I give them a “recipe.” And the best part is, it’s a “recipe” for getting in shape they love... because they can still eat their favorite foods.

Yes, including cookies lol 🍪

So what if someone could hand you a recipe to get your dream body? You just follow the steps, and then BAM! Next thing you know you’re looking at a new ‘you’ in the mirror?

NEWSFLASH: You’re not going to get the body of your dreams after just a couple of weeks of working out

Shocker. I know...

So how do you stay motivated when you don’t see instant results?

The 🔑 is to focus on daily “habit victories.”

Ask yourself…

✅ Did I exercise today?
✅ Did I stay within my caloric targets?
✅ Did I drink water?
✅ Did I savor each bite of food instead of shoveling it mindlessly?

By focusing on habit victories, next thing ya know…

You could feel your abs… you’re not getting drained during workouts… and you look great in your clothes.

When you focus on DAILY wins, you have something to be proud of each day.

This ignites motivation to keep going 🔥

Then - BAM - results come.

So look, I can’t promise you overnight results. No one can.

It’s probably gonna take a few months of working together before old cravings disappear and you can buy a new wardrobe.

But when you enjoy the process, every day can feel like a victory.

Which is the key to *permanent* results.

Because what’s the point in getting in great shape... only to lose it all later? 🤷🏻‍♂️

So if you want to both get fit and STAY fit...

All while loving the process…

Focus on the daily wins.
