Cristiano Ronaldo, full name Cristiano Ronaldo
dos Santos Aveiro, was born on February 5,
1985, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. He grew
up in a working-class family and had a passion
for football from an early age.
Ronaldo started playing football at the age of
eight for the local amateur team Andorinha.
His skills quickly gained attention and he laterLik
joined the youth academy of Sporting Lisbon,
one of Portugal's biggest clubs.
In 2002, at just 17 years old, Ronaldo made his
