As we are going through a storm, last year I testified before the NYC Council to support bills that would provide access to recreational facilities and provide access to indoor facilities for basketball teams during inclement weather during summer.

Georgia native Cynthia D. Hall learned a lesson in courage at age twelve when she stood alone to integrate her hometown school.
She now brings that same pioneering spirit to the fairways as President of the Metropolitan Jewels Ladies Golf Club, dedicated to introducing Women of Color to the game.

This is more than just an interview; it’s a living history. The Golf Griot project is dedicated to preserving the rich, often untold stories of golfers of African descent and their contributions to the sport and society
