One of the biggest misconceptions around media kits is that they are only for creators who already feel established.
A lot of people think they need larger numbers, more experience, more confidence, or a more polished body of work before they are “ready” to make one. In practice, that mindset usually just delays the process and makes it feel more intimidating than it needs to.
A media kit is not just a polished end product. It can also be a record of growth. Your first version does not need to look perfect. It can be simple. It can change. It can become something more refined over time as your work evolves and your confidence grows with it.
That is part of why the monthly Media Kit session exists. It gives people a low pressure place to update numbers, organize information, ask questions, and work through the parts that feel mentally bigger than they actually are. Sometimes the hardest part is not ability. It is just starting.
If you create content, you already have something worth organizing.
