☀️ Wow, is it hot out there today! You know what else is hot? Our 18th Annual Rocco Laurie Memorial Staten Island Triathlon/Duathlon finisher medals! 🔥🏅

How's everyone doing? 👏
On Sunday, our Race Director, Victor, rode out to the race site for the 4th Annual Palisades Park Triathlon/Duathlon on June 28 and put together a short video to help you prepare for race day. 💪
In the video, you'll get a preview of the swim, bike, and run courses, along with important information on where to go and what to expect on race morning. Since both the bike and run courses utilize the scenic Henry Hudson Drive, there are a few key locations where you'll need to pay close attention to ensure you stay on course and avoid accidentally cutting the course short.
The first run for the duathlon is at .7 miles out, where we will have the water station. The last run is 3 miles. The turn around point is by the bridge, about 1.5 miles out from the transition.
Please take a few minutes to watch the video before race day. Familiarizing yourself with the course will help make your race smoother, safer, and more enjoyable.

Wow! 😮 What an amazing race day we had yesterday at our 7th Annual Cross Bay Triathlon/Duathlon! Sure, the water was a bit cold, but the weather turned out excellent. Glad to see so many of you out there having a great time racing. Congratulations to all of the finishers! 🏅

For many of you, it was your first time swimming in the Rockaway Beach waters, and that is no easy task. 🏊 You took on the Atlantic and earned every bit of that finish line feeling.

A huge thank you to our NYC and Federal lifeguards, along with the NYPD Harbor Patrol and FDNY Marine Unit, and FDNY EMS for helping us ensure a safe swim for everyone throughout the race. Your support and professionalism made this event possible.

We’re already looking forward to seeing you all again at the next race!
