Congratulations to Varsity Baseball team member, Luca Zacco (pictured here with Coach Mongiori), who is the recipient of the 2025grant from the Thomas F. Smith Memorial Baseball Fund for Msgr McClancy MHS - this sportmanship award will help Luca offset costs for the tournament down south this Easter break, and is chosen by the varsity coaches and Tommy's sister, Ann Smith-Lozada (me! Lol)

"Queens residents know that recent storms have been contributing to flooding events. A few years ago, Hurricane Ida caused devastation in our NYC communities, especially here in Queens. Ida was devastating to Queens with almost a dozen people in our borough lost their lives.

With this in mind, we invite you to join our East Elmhurst Flooding Meeting on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at:

Msgr. McClancy Memorial HS

The meeting will gather students, community members, and representatives from NYC Department of Environmental Protection, NYC Emergency Management, and Cornell University to share important ways to prepare for flooding as well as resources that can help to support residents and business owners ahead of the quickly approaching storm season."

A fun futuristic Juke-Box musical based upon popular Queen songs (not the movie) such as We Are the Champions, Pressure, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and We Will Rock You, to name a few. The show premiered in London in 2002 and had a run in New York as well.

Tommy's baseball grant will be awarded to one member of the Msgr. McClancy Varsity Baseball Team, on November 18, 2022 event. Please come on down, hang out with us & enjoy the gathering. This event & Smitty's grant all support the team & their travel tournament in Myrtle Beach, SC, which will be this April during Easter Break 🤗 THANK YOU!
