Our mission is to instill the Olympic values and spirit of team handball while connecting people from around the globe in the greatest city in the world. Our mission is to promote, educate and organize handball events in New York City. Our members practice twice a week and compete throughout the year in Northeast League, tournaments, and the US National Championships.

From NYC to the coast of France, a simple letter made an incredible journey across the ocean and back for a cause way bigger than sport.

It all started in Saint-Malo when sailors on the Grain de Sail 2 cargo ship crossed the Atlantic. After docking, they hopped on bikes and rode through Manhattan to hand-deliver a message of brotherhood from the Association Challenge Christophe Caraty, a French team supporting hospitalized cancer patients and their families. ⛵️🗽

Representing NYC means showing up when it counts. We wrote back with our club’s support. ✍️❤️

From there, the relay took off.

Rémy and his 15-year-old son Isaac packed our reply, got on their trikes, and put in 263 km of hard pedaling over 3 days, riding from Mont Saint-Michel all the way to the coast of Plouguerneau. 🚴‍♂️💨

Right at the water’s edge, looking back across the ocean, they handed our NYC letter directly to Christophe’s father, Joël. ☀️💌

Cargo ships, bikes, and handball players connecting across the world for a real cause. This is what community is all about. 🌍

🏆 Champions Again! 🏆

What an incredible weekend at the 67th Annual SportsFest! Perfect weather, seamless organization, and an unbeatable group of people made it one to remember.

While SportsFest is about so much more than just handball (the oldest running team handball event in Americas), Sunday’s final matches proved once again what our team is made of: Endurance, Resilience, and Pride.

A huge thank you to everyone who organized, supported, coached, and cheered us on throughout the weekend. Bringing home the championship trophies for both teams was the ultimate way to cap it off!

That’s an official wrap on our season! Time to recharge, stay in shape with summer practices, and get ready to do it all over again in September.

Handball in NYC is on the rise! 🗽 From our youth academy and after-school programs to elite and development adult teams, we’re pushing the sport forward every day.

Bringing more handball to local TV is the next big milestone. Having MSG Networks feature European handball is a huge win for EHF Home of Handball and the sport’s growth in the USA. Let’s keep pushing! 🤾‍♀️📺
