FALES GRIP 101 💪 with .strength

The first step in developing the strict ring 💍 muscle up is understanding the false grip.

This grip allows for an smooth transition from the pull-up to the dip in the muscle-up.

With the learning this grip is much easier as the load on the grip is cut in half allowing the ability to hold it throughout multiple reps possible. This allows for increased training volume and skill transfer time.

RING THING 💍

This ring setup is amazing. I love it for teaching the proper movement mechanics of the and of this high skill exercise.

The offers a 50% drop in load while doing bodyweight movements with the pulley design, which allows for optimal time under tension training.

In the 🎥 I am performing a complex of segments of the muscle up to train the movement under greater tension and attempting to strengthen the weak points of the movement, which will have a greater carry over to the full movement under full load.

You can train segments of the pull-up, the dip, and the turnover independently or put them together into complexes as you see fit.

The Ring thing is an impressive training tool to understand every inch of ROM of the muscle up exercise.

Give it a try and post your complex or work on the apparatus.

Coach with 🌟 student Tia!

Repost: Back to the day when I had to teach how to do a Ring Muscle.
Well, to be honest we were just playing with the Ring Thing; she was already the Fittest Woman on Earth, so she had her Muscle Ups under control. It was fun though to work on back rolls.

Thanks and for making me feel like a gymnast again!! 🙌🏻
