It is the mission of Boldest Football to restore pride, sportsmanship, camaraderie, and professionalism to the New York City Department of Correction. We wish to achieve these goals by displaying qualities such as teamwork, athleticism, responsibility, and unity. In addition, members of this department will be given numerous opportunities to volunteer their time and assist different charitable org

anizations in an effort to improve the quality of life in New York City. Athletically, we will compete in the National Public Safety Football League (NPSFL). The NPSFL is a national coalition of first responders that donate their time & service to communities while raising money through athletic competition. Each team in the league donates money, not directly associated with operating cost, to a charity of their choice.

On Wednesday 4/22 the “Final Play” happened for our very own Reginald Rothwell as he completed his 20 yrs of dedicated service to the NYC Dept of Corrections. You can’t measure his 20 years in time, only in lives changed. Teammates, officers, brothers/sisters are all better because of him. From the yard to the sideline leadership, sacrifice, and brotherhood defined every step.

“The Final Play” isn’t the end… it’s the impact that lives on in every life he touched.

Thank you for everything Reginald Rothwell.
