I am back from China. If you emailed me while I was away, I will be getting back to you as I get over jet lag. In the meantime, here is a picture of my grandma with a robot and a little story.
When I saw my grandma, she told me about the robot who came to visit her nursing home. I asked her if she was scared. “Why would I be scared?” she asked me. “The robot was wearing clothes.”
When I saw the picture of her with the robot, I saw that the only clothes the robot was wearing was a vest that was an advertisement for an insurance company. Just shirt. No pants. Completely uncovered on the lower half.
Still, my grandma assured me that the robot wasn’t scary. “It can only fold clothes and make the bed,” she said. “It can’t do anything else. It’s completely useless.”
