For opening day of the spring season, NYCFF joined forces with the new Kevin Costner film Draft Day. On a windy day, Team Red (NWO) was able to pull out the 12-0 victory over Team Blue (TouroCOM).

2. Playmakers, 2-0 - An impressive opening week win over Monstars has Playmakers debuting at 2. They get a shot at the top spot on Saturday when they face off against Wash Heights in the 8v8 Game of the Week.

Player of the week for 8v8 week one is Chino of Wash Heights. This QB/Safety combo three 3 TDs, scored 2 on the ground, and had 5 picks to welcome Myriad Supply to the league. It will be interesting to see him build on that performance when they face off with Team X in week 2.
