The Downtown Boathouse has launched well over half a million people onto the water—completely free of charge—since 1994.

As an all-volunteer non-profit organization, our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide safe, free public access to the New York Harbor, offering residents and visitors a unique way to experience our incredible waterfront.

On this global day of giving, we need your help to keep the kayaks in the water and the life jackets ready for the next season.

Every donation makes a direct impact:

Helping maintain our fleet of kayaks and safety equipment.
Supporting volunteer training.
Helping cover the costs of our facilities and ensuring a safe environment for all paddlers.
