New York City Kendo Club

New York City Kendo Club Kataoka Sensei is the teacher for all classes. (The beginner/basic class is for participants of all skill.) Visitors are welcome to watch anytime.

To begin practicing at anytime:
Monthly fee: Please discuss with Kataoka sensei. Equipment: Practice sword (‘Shinai’- can be purchased for $30-35)
Clothing: loose athletic wear, no footwear used. Please come see for yourself. Practice Times
Tue: Ripley Grier Dance Studio, 305 West 38th St, 7-9p
Thurs: Ripley Grier Dance Studio 7-9:30p
Sat: Brooklyn Dojo, 988 Atlantic Avenue (enter on Grand Ave.)

Kendo 1-4:30p, Iaido 4:30-5:30p
