Hosting a retreat with .alleyne was more than I could have ever dreamed of — we did yoga, we laughed, we cried, we ate too much, we saw dolphins, we gazed up at the planets and came back home to ourselves. So grateful to this group of like-minded people who made the retreat special. Also, big thank you to my fam, and everyone who supported us back when the idea of doing a retreat during a panini felt strange. Thank you our vegan chef and all of my teachers whose wisdom I draw from 🙏🏽🤍

Have you heard of trauma informed yoga? I’m teaching an IRL donation class next Saturday Nov 11th at 4pm

All proceeds go to the , which is focused on providing access to trauma informed yoga. Trauma can live in our bodies long after the original event (which is why we get triggered) so trauma informed classes can be a powerful tool to connect to your body in a different way. As a teacher learning about trauma informed yoga provided methods and tools to create a safe(r) supportive space for all types of students. When we’re feeling triggered, often the antidote is a calming or grounding resource for our nervous system, and yoga techniques can be helpful resources.
