A beautiful venue set in the heart of Northamptonshire nestled in the Nene Valley. A complex of 4 lakes and 2 junior ponds. TRINITY LAKE is around 2.5 acres hosting 9 pegs all of which are dug out bourded and graveled for a nice comfortable stay. With a healthy stocking of old home grown carp with many to over 30lb averaging at mid 20s. With depths ranging from 4ft to 14ft this lake isnt an easy a
n water and isnt for the inexperienced carper. LUCY LAKE is around 1.8 acres with a healthy stocking of pretty fish some ornementle with 2 known 30lb commons and many other 20s to back them up. With depths averaging 5ft to 13ft Lucy lake hosts 5 pegs all of which are graveled and bourded. Lucy lake is a more intermate water where the fish dont get caught that easily'
Both lakes have access to portaloos that are situated just inside both gates. ELLIE LAKE is our silver fish lake of around 2 acres. With 7 pegs Ellie is wheel chair friendly when water levels arent high The lake has a good stock of big bream to double figure and plenty of tench to go at. With a good stock of rudd and roach aswell this lake will keep you busy great for the novice angler and the more experienced'
NIDALE Lake is the largest lake on the complex of around 28acres this lake has a good head of big bream and tench but is more well known for its winter sport with a good head of pike. GERRADS PONDS are 2 very smalls ponds within the camping area these hold many silver fish but would be better suited to the beginner. HOPE LAKE is our exclusive syndicate lake with carp over 50lbs
(book is now closed. Here at Grendon lakes we expect all rules to be adhered to at all times these rules have been put into place to protect fish on the complex. Any angler guest or person found to be breaking the rules will be asked to leave with no refund.
1. All anglers will have a signed up to date EA rod licence for the amount of rods they are fishing.( you will be checked)
2. 2 rods only unless you are a season ticket holder or pike fishing on nidale.
3. No leadcore leaders leadless only 4ft max or tubing.( random rig checks will be carried out)
4. All anglers must carry a carp care kit a treat all hook holds scuffs or grazes on inspection after capture befor being returned.
5. Barbless hooks only -no bent hooks ie: long shank nailers are banned!
6. 15lb mainline minimum no braided lines braided hook link must be coated on all carp lakes.
7. no fixed leads all leads must be able to eject including inlines systems .
8.Thick padded cradle type matts only, no flat mats.
9. no tiger nuts all seed particle to be used in moderation and prepared correctly please do not overfeed.
10. 42 inch minimum landing net required.
11.All fish to be weighed and photographed as soon as possible do not stand when having photos taken.
12. No removal of fish all fish to be returned to the lake from which it was caught anyone caught removing fish will be banned from the fishery for life.
13. Never leave your rods unattended even when you’re going to the toilet or going to bait up reel up or pack up.
14. Keep noise levels to an absolute minimum at all times music is not permitted.
15.  No retaining of fish for long periods of time no carp sacks, floating slings only.
16. No excessive drinking drugs will not be tolerated!!
17. No open fires all bbqs to be raised off the floor please do not burn the grass.
18. Only one dog per Angler all dogs are to be kept on a lead and kept quiet at all times and all mess to be picked up immediately.
19. Only ONE guest per angler no late night visits or drop-offs to the lake after 6:30pm.All collections of supplies to be done at the gate opposite the shower block no driving to the lakes.
20. No swimming no wading.
21. No tree climbing.
22. No cutting of trees or vegetation.
23. All breakages and loss of kit should be reported to a bailiff immediately.
24. KEEP ALL GATES CLOSED AT ALL TIMES!
25. All 30+ pound fish caught are to be reported to a bailiff.
26. No parking behind the swims or on the grass.
27. All cars to be parked in the car parks supplied.
28. no reserving of any pegs/swims.
29. No fishing on the causeway between Trinity and Lucy.
30 please treat all fellow anglers with upmost respect at all times.
31. Washing line method|/rig is banned on the complex when fishing alone.
32. pleased take all your rubbish home this includes bits of plastic tied to the far margin fence!
33.
