World Cup Fever Brings Soccer Pitches to N.Y. Parks, Schools and Rooftops ⚽️ 🏡

Companies, government organizations, non profits and schools are working hard to make soccer fields more accessible.

With the restoration of four soccer fields on Randall's Island, NYC Footy players can now enjoy the improved, high quality turf that also "impacts youth soccer, club soccer, high school leagues, adult leagues, recreational leagues and people who just go to Randall's Island to have a barbecue and play pickup"📰

Here's a quick update on the lighting initiative to kick off your World Cup... ... 💡

After recently reducing the hours for fields from 11pm to 10pm, the City has rolled back the original policy and agreed to return the cutoff to 11pm (at least through the summer) - this isn't the BIG "W", but this is just the beginning, and it's thanks to all of you sports players out there! ⚽️🏀🥎🏐⚾️ 🎾

▶️ So, with all the chatter out there about field accessibility, CEO/Co-founder Tarek Pertew is back on the "grid" to "illuminate".
