We hope you are all well and taking care of yourselves. It’s been a while, but we wanted to give you an update on how things are going for us.
As you know the pandemic hit us heard Socially, Financially, and of course Health-wise mentally and physically. Through that time though, we’ve seen amazing moments of positivity such as hitting our GoFundMe goal and being able to continue dancing with you all virtually.
After much thought and realizing that many factors are still uncertain, we’ve made the difficult decision to close this chapter of House of Movement. Maybe there will be an opportunity for us to come back bigger and better than ever, but for now we are ending things how we started them: with fun times and community vibes!
We’ll be hosting out last workshop on Friday, October 1st with classes from Alice and Jaqui and a shirt designed by Gabi of Sari-Sari. The theme of the event is “HOM is where the heart is,” and it is both a celebration of our 8th year anniversary and a goodbye for know.
We know it’s bittersweet, but we have so much gratitude for all students and staff we’ve had the pleasure to work with over the years, and we hope to see/dance with you one more time in October!
