Heir to latter-day powerhouses Windy City and Z, Machine has appeared at the USAU Club Championships ten times since its inception in 2001, including eight consecutive trips from 2006 to the present.
2012 & 2013 marked Machine's highest finishes at the USAU Club Championships, finishing 5th and 6th overall respectively. Machine also came in first place for the Nationals team Spirit Award in both
years, and three out of the past four years. In 2013, Machine also placed 2nd in the nation in the newly formed Triple Crown Tour regular season rankings, as well as 1st at the Great Lakes Regional Championship. Machine's success in 2013 has earned them the right to compete in the "Pro" flight of the USAU's 2014 Triple Crown Tour. Captained by Walden Nelson, Kevin Kelly, and Ron Kubalanza, Machine returns in 2014 with 24 players eager to improve upon last season success. Machine practices Saturday and Sunday mornings at Washington Park in Chicago, and trains two nights a week in smaller pods at various locations around the city. In 2014, Machine will attend 3 tournaments prior to the start of the Club Series. Two of the tournaments fall under the Triple Crown Tour. These include the Chesapeake Invite in Washington DC, July 12-13, and the Pro-Flight Finale in Seattle, WA, August 30-31. Additionally, Machine will compete at the Chicago Heavyweight Championships in Rockford, IL the weekend of August 23-24.
