Mountain climbers are terrible.
Unfortunately, they’re also really good at making your core work while the rest of your body is doing increasingly horrible things.
Start with the classic. Add the twist. And if you’re feeling particularly unwell, hop both feet in and out.
In conclusion: mountain climbers are terrible but they hurt oh so good.
Save these for when you feel like suffering. 😌

Exercises That Still Slap:
Part 9 ✨
Pilates single leg stretch.
Core control, coordination, and hip mobility.
No equipment needed and way harder than it looks.
The challenge: can you switch your legs without your center coming along for the ride?
Dear old Joe knew what it was doing with this one. 😉

Your glutes don’t just move your hips, they help stabilize them too.
These 3 banded moves hit strength, stability and power, so you’re building more than just the 🍑.
Build the stability. Then build the b***y.
Save these for your next leg day.

If your shoulders tend to round forward, don’t just keep pulling them back.
Give them somewhere better to go.
These two moves work on opening the range and building strength and control there so better posture takes less effort.
Save this one for your next upper-body day.

Your sign to stop scrolling and stretch your neck.
Do this now. Your traps will thank you.
Save it for the next time you catch your shoulders creeping toward your ears.

A new month always comes with a lot of pressure to do more, change more, start more.
I’m more interested in what’s worth carrying with me.
The things that make me feel stronger. More grounded. More like myself.
You don’t always need a whole new plan.
Sometimes you just need to notice what’s already working and keep going.
What are you taking into September?

How far can you get? 👀
We’re building this one from control → strength → power + mobility.
Level 1: Own the transition.
Level 2: Add the squat.
Level 3: Add the hop - and reconsider your life choices afterward 😂
Harder isn’t always better, but progressing what you can already control? That’s where the fun starts.
So, are you 1, 2 or 3?

Your core doesn’t stop at your abs.
These 3 frog position core exercises keep the abs working while adding a little extra demand from the hips.
Strong center. Strong hips. Better control everywhere.
Save these for your next core day.
Which one are you trying first — 1, 2, or 3?

Your core isn’t just about how far you can move, it’s about how much of that movement you can actually control.
In a jackknife, your legs create a lot of leverage. As they move away from you, notice what happens to your center.
Does your pelvis follow? Do your ribs change? Where does the movement stop feeling controlled?
That’s not a reason to make the movement smaller forever.
It’s information.
Because once you know where your control ends, that’s where truly building it begins.

💬 Which wrist feels tighter, left or right?
UNLOCK
Your wrists do a lot more work than you probably give them credit for. They type, they scroll, they lift, push, and plank.
Give them a little attention.
Move slowly, don’t force the range, and notice if one side feels completely different from the other.
Sometimes the first step isn’t fixing anything.
It’s noticing what your body is already telling you.
