Taoist Arts Center The Taoist Arts Center New York began in 1990 out of a long term commitment to the internal arts. Our students come from all walks of life. Come by check us out!

We look forward to seeing you at our East Village location or online in our public or private classes. Founded in 1990, the Taoist Arts Center grew from a lifelong love of the internal arts and a wish to create a welcoming space where people can learn, share, and grow through Tai Chi, Chi Kung (qigong), and Meditation.

Welcome Fall 2026 at the Taoist Arts Center!

Open House on Tuesday, September 8 at 6:15pm, followed by pay-what-you-wish trial classes that evening. Early Fall courses meet Tuesdays, September 8–October 27, with Gathering Essence Qigong at 7pm and Tai Chi Chuan at 8pm. Late Fall courses meet Tuesdays, November 3–December 22, with Chakra Balance Meditation at 7pm and Tai Chi Chuan at 8pm. Join us and flow with the season!
