Tonight, the Marshall Chess Club held our Annual Meeting, which included an election for 5 open seats. After votes were tallied, it was determined that the following candidates won the election and will be seated for a three-year term: Ken Kubo, Vladimir Bugayev, Stephane Derveaux, Luka Glinsky, and Evan Rosenberg.

We would like to congratulate the newly elected and reelected board members and look forward to their contributions to the club

I am sorry to inform you of the death of my brother Ian Fleischman who died yesterday June 6, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10th 5-7 pm at English Bros. We are reaching out to ask for support for a longtime friend of our club. Over the years, James has been a great friend and supporter of the club, including sending many of his students to our tournaments and camps.
As a coach of a nearby school right around the corner from us (PS 41), he has truly been a wonderful neighbor and friend.
