Molloy University Women's Bowling is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Christine Cirello Wagner, mother of program alumnus and former Coach Mackenzie Wagner. Our condolences go out to Coach Wagner's family and loved ones, and our prayers are with Christine's spirit. We are hoping for peace for all of those who are affected by this loss. We are eternally grateful for the immense support Christine provided to the Lions through the years, and we will remember her for her kindness.

Dr. Robert Cincotta served as the founding head coach of women’s bowling at Molloy University in 2015, and he continued to coach here for the next 7 seasons. Before that, he was the founding head coach at Adelphi University in 2006, even leading them to a conference title in 2013.

This weekend, we would like to honor him for all that he did for our programs. All proceeds go to support the Molloy University and Adelphi University Women’s Bowling team as well as the Bowlers to Veterans Link, with contributions earmarked for the United States Coast Guard to honor Dr. Cincotta’s service in the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Thank you for giving our program your very best for the last 3 and a half years. To say I am proud of you would be a terrible understatement. Your legacy here already has a meaningful impact, and I suspect and anticipate that will remain true for a long time. Like most of my favorite people in this world, I consider your intellect to be your greatest quality, and I know that it will take you anywhere and everywhere you want to go in life. I hope you will live that life proud to have been a Molloy Lion.
Selfishly, you will be the first player I have seen through from HS recruiting process to the completion of your degree as a head coach. I hope that I've been able to give you a fraction of the passion, dedication, and effort that you've given to your school, your teammates, your coaches, and yourself these past years. We are all far better off for having had that time together with you. I'm sad it's coming to an end, but I can't wait for you to have the chance to celebrate your impending graduation and go on to changing our world in greater ways. Never stop doing awesome stuff.

Molloy Bowling is saddened by the loss of a longtime member of the community - Our condolences especially go out to the bowling families at Youngstown State, Bethune-Cookman, and Pikeville.

We are incredibly saddened to share that our program’s first head coach from 2015-18, Chelsea Gilliam, has passed away after a long, courageous and inspiring battle with cancer. She was just 35 years old.

We send our deepest sympathies to Chelsea’s family, and we join her many friends in the bowling community and beyond in mourning her passing. She will be sorely missed.

Thank you to the Athletic Director who brought bowling to Molloy University. We wish you the best in your coaching pursuit, and will always appreciate the kindness and dedication you showed our program. We will miss you and we are always rooting for you!

After nearly 20 years as the Director of Athletics and Head Softball Coach at Molloy, Susan Cassidy-Lyke announced that she would be stepping down from both roles to become the Head Softball Coach at Hofstra University.
