What’s up, Zone Ballers?
It’s your guy — the inventor of Zone Ball — Steve Strangio.
Let’s talk about where we’ve been… and where we’re going.
It’s been a wild ride.
Before Zone Ball, there was Roller Clash — an inline skating sport with a barrel goal in the center. I pushed hard to get it off the ground, even landed a letter of intent from ESPN to broadcast it worldwide…
…but sometimes the path doesn’t go where you expect.
So I pivoted.
I took off the skates.
I reworked the concept.
And Zone Ball was born.
(Fun fact: Roller Clash still lives on as Roller Zone — it was actually played in Scotland 🇬🇧)

Fast forward to now…
🏀 Zone Ball made it to ESPN
🌍 It’s been played in multiple places
⏸️ Then the pandemic hit… and slowed everything down
But here’s the thing…
I never stopped.
Because this is what I do.
👉 I invent sports.
I’ve got about 60 new sports right now — and I’ve been doing this since the 1990s, back when nobody even knew what to do with someone like me.
Now?
The world is finally catching up.

So what’s next?
Right now, I’m making a major push to:
🔥 Launch official Zone Ball leagues
📺 Get back on television
🤝 Lock in the RIGHT partners
💰 Secure sponsorship and investment
And here’s the exciting part…
• I’ve connected with a group ready to run a one-day tournament
• They can organize players, run the event, and film it 🎥
• I’ve got a major venue interested in hosting
Yeah… I’m being a little vague right now — but that’s strategic. No jinxing this.

Where we stand:
We’re at the foundation stage.
That means:
👉 Building structure
👉 Creating infrastructure
👉 Bringing in people who KNOW how to:
- Run leagues
- Produce events
- Scale a sport
- Syndicate content
Because at the end of the day…
I’m the idea guy. The creator.
Now it’s time to build the machine around it.
