When was the last time you disconnected from everything and tuned into your soul?

For me it has been every single day this year!

At the end of 2019 I had a ton of shifts and realizations. (I wrote a blog post about the big ones, if you want to read it click the link in my bio)

Because of these shifts and realizations I decided to take a step back from everything. To focus on myself, my health, and my wellbeing.

What I have learned in this time of reflection is that I LOVE writing! There is just something about it that is so special to me. Probably because it is an outlet I have used to express myself my entire life.

I originally thought that I would take the entire year off of social media and my business. But what I have realized is that I love creating content and helping people.

I love creating and I have missed that. Don’t get me wrong it has been an amazing to disconnect and I think it is so important that we do so from time to time.

So basically this is me saying hello, I am back! And I am back better than ever with an upgraded mindset and ready to just be me, without worrying about if people will like it or not.

To be honest I don’t really care! I like who I am and the people that I am meant to serve will also like who I am, and that my beautiful friends is all that really matters!

Be you. Do you. Fu*k the Haters. Let’s make the start of this decade the best year yet!

Yesterday I hiked 7 miles and it was so gorgeous 🌲

In 2020 one of my goals is to get outside everyday!

Even if it is freezing 🥶 Being outside & in nature always lifts my mood!

The journey to healing yourself is not linear
It is full of ups and downs
It will challenge you
It will push you outside of your comfort zone
It will be worth it

I have seen a lot of posts about what to let go of and leave behind so I wanted to create
something a little bit different.

I prefer to focus on the things I want to create in my life, because what we focus on expands.

Why? Because we are giving it attention.

So I would encourage anyone to take a moment today, the beginning of a new year and new decade, to quietly reflect on what they would like to cultivate in 2020 and in this decade!

These are some thinks I believe are important to cultivate on any healing journey, recovery journey, & personal development journey.

I hope that you find them to be helpful on your journey as they have been for me on mine.

As I reflect back on 2019 and the last decade this quote could not be more true.

I have grown, evolved, healed, recovered, and learned so much over the last ten years.

When I look back to the girl I was in 2009 I have so much love and compassion for her. She was the one who made the decision to heal and transform.

She was the one who knew that she had to change in order to continue living. She was the one who look the first step.

I am so grateful to her.

My journey over the past 10 years has not been the easiest but I would not change it. Everything has unfolded perfectly as it was meant to for the evolution of my soul.

Over the last 10 years I have:
Recovered from Anorexia, Bulimia, & BDD
Made huge strides in healing from PTSD
Moved 20 times
Found & Married My Best Friend
Got copper poisoning from my IUD
Adopted the best puppy ever
Launched 7 businesses
Had multiple kidney stones
Found tons of amazing natural healing tools
Wrote my first book
Experienced major depression
Fell in love with Yoga| Meditation | Breathwork
Left the country for the first time
Made amazing new friends in person & online
Forgave myself & others
And so much more

I have never felt more clear and connected to myself and my purpose. I know that 2020 and the next decade has incredible things in store.

If you are feeling like it is time for change I highly encourage you to make the decision for you and never look back.

You are more powerful than you can possibly imagine. You have choices & options. You are not stuck. You and your life are totally up to you.

I believe in you! You got this!

This is a part of my story that I have never shared publicly before.

I have many reasons for not sharing but I feel that I am ready to share, and I share in the hopes of helping others and creating awareness.

For as long as I can remember illness has been apart of my life. Before I had any idea what term chronic illness was. It was just my reality.

From a very young age I spent time in and out of hospitals.

As I got older I despised anything to do with going to the dr. It always felt traumatic and I never really got answers and most of the time left feeling scared because they didn’t know what was wrong with me.

Through this I learned to cope. I learned to live with the pain and I developed a very very high pain tolerance.

In 2019 I spent 3 months where I could barley get myself out of bed. Every time I ate I had terrible stomach pain. I had migraines on a daily basis. And my pain levels were through the roof.

This is my reality, this is my normal. I never know when I will have a flare up.

Over the years I have found ways to do deal and treat the different illnesses I have and for that I am forever grateful.

I have found so many amazing natural remedies and plants that have greatly improved the quality of my life.

I guess I am sharing this part of my story now because it feels selfish to keep these things that have helped me so much just to myself.

So this is your warning. I will be sharing more about chronic illness on my page and the things that help me get through the day.

I have realized this year that if I am actually going to share my journey and my life with all the beautiful humans on the Internet I am not going to have a filter.

I am going to share all of me. All of the things that make me, me. The things I love, the things I struggle with, the things that bring me joy.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on my journey. I am so grateful for all of you and I hope that my posts and videos help you on your journey in one way or another!

CBD has been such a game changer for me! I have been using it for the last three years and it has been a godsend.

I have had multiple chronic illnesses since I was young and have been dealing with daily chronic pain since I was 10 years old.

I am so grateful for the amazing h**p plant 🌱 and all that it does for me.

For anyone who is struggling with chronic pain and illness I see you and I know your struggle. If you haven’t given CBD a try I would highly recommend it.

I have also as of 2019 discovered the magic of CBG! It melts my migraines away almost instantly. Let’s just say I am seriously obsessed.

Can I let you in on a secret?

You are exactly where you are meant to be.

Everything that has unfolded in your life has happened for a reason.

I know how hard it can be to hear that but it’s true.

Everything that has happened has shaped you into the amazing person that you are today.

Please take this opportunity to stop making yourself wrong for the mistakes you have made on your journey.

You are enough. You are worthy. You are lovable. You deserve to forgive yourself. You deserve to live a life you love.

Trust me I have been there.

With the constant negative self talk running all day, picking apart everything I did, everything I thought, and always making myself wrong.

I had created a prison of abuse for myself because I believed that I was not enough. That I was not worthy. That I didn’t deserve to live the life I wanted.

Because I believed the lies of my abusers and became my own abuser.

But there is hope.

We are so powerful, more so than we can imagine. We can overcome anything we decide to.

It is my hope that someone who reads this post will have a seed planted that will grow. That this will give them hope and show them what is possible.

We are not the things that have happened to us. We have the choice to rise above we have the choice to go beyond survival.

I know it’s possible. I believe in you!
