📉📈 Proof the success in football is rarely linear.
In 2021, Norwich City signed a 19-year-old Christos Tzolis for £10M from PAOK.
They had high hopes for him, but things never quite clicked at Norwich. After struggling to settle, he was sent out on loan before eventually being sold to Club Brugge for just £3.5M in 2024, leaving Norwich to take a significant loss.
Fast forward to 2026 and he’s now starting for the Premier League champions, showing exactly what an explosive player he can be. He’s a proper throwback winger - hugs the touchline, loves taking on his man and is equally comfortable going onto his left or right foot.
At £34M, he already looks like an absolute snip in today’s market.
