Meet Nadia!!🥳🥳
duncan is the newest member of our instructor staff! She is warm, insightful, and you can feel her joy for movement in her teaching right away. You’ll be seeing her around the studio so say hi!
“Nadia was first introduced to movement instruction during her work as an undergraduate teaching assistant. In her Movement for Performers course, she guided her students through informed movement with a combination of Pilates, yoga, contemporary dance, and Jungian psychology. She then went on to complete her 600-hour Classical Pilates certification through Core Pilates NYC’s training program in 2021. Afterwards, she immediately began teaching, alongside her administrative work as the General Manager of CPNYC from 2021-2022.
Nadia has taught at Core Pilates NYC, Aerial Arts NYC, and NYC Pilates UWS. She has worked with clients of all ages and experience levels, from young dancers to seniors recovering from injury. Nadia’s Pilates classes are focused on precision, flow, and economy of movement. She creates classically based sessions with challenging and exciting variations that are accessible to both new and experienced Pilates practitioners.
Beyond her Pilates practice, Nadia is a musical theatre singer, actress, dancer, and aspiring aerialist. She received her BA in Theatre and Opera from SUNY Purchase College and her MM in Vocal Performance: Musical Theatre from NYU Steinhardt.”
Nadia will be available for private sessions and Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings. DM or email us at [email protected] to schedule a session🕺🏻
