Franco Harris, the Hall of Fame running back who was a central part of The Immaculate Reception,” considered the most iconic play in NFL history, has died at 72, his son told the Associated Press. Harris won four Super Bowl rings with the Steelers in the 1970s and was having his jersey number retired this week. He died two days before the 50th anniversary of The Immaculate Reception.
