The progression of learning tennis. One step at a time. Progressing through moments of failure is necessary. Having some success throughout a lesson is necessary. I caught Hannah Rose here first learning the mechanics of throwing. Then, failing and succeeding to hit a hand fed ball.

Mack was the first person I recorded on slow mo. This was her 4th lesson. I taught her how to hit on the wall. She loves to hit the ball as hard as she can. Great form for a beginner tennis player.

Mack is a former basketball and volleyball player from the west coast. She reached out to me on NextDoor and wanted to learn to play. This is video of her serving using a tennis racket fornthe first time with her. I gave her a few tips, videotaped her and showed her one flaw in her swing and she was able to correct within a few mins. Do you notice the improvement?
