June 2nd, 2010 opened its doors..
It didn’t just change our lives, it had an impact on the thousands of people that stepped foot into these door and our community as a whole. Members from every stage, age and walks of life, came into this place as strangers. Some became best friends, some have gotten married and I lost count of how many children were born after the couple met at CKO.. that’s pretty cool..

We’ve helped members train successfully for everything from getting ready for Military, FDNY, NYPD, boot camps.. EMS workers..
Baseball, football, basketball, hockey, wrestling, even a drummer said CKO classes made them better at what they did.. I’ve even seen it “cure“ asthma by building up lungs ..

Being the first “ Boutique Gym” in Bay Ridge, we were discouraged by many, including other local gym owners telling us “ we should reconsider opening”..
Well that just gave us more motivation to open and succeed..

Just as importantly, we no doubt inspired others to follows their dreams and open gyms of their own.. No longer was it just the “Big Box Gyms” .. We humbly acknowledge that and say it proudly with all humility..
