On behalf of Para, thank you everyone who contributed, shared the Ready Set Give post, and sent warm thoughts. β€οΈβπ©Ή Thank you to the organizers of Ready Set Give for organizing this campaign on her behalf.
The outpouring of love from the dog community has been incredible, and Para is extremely grateful.
While she has not yet read all of the condolence messages, she will in time when she is able.
Thank you so much for easing the financial burden, enabling her to focus on healing after losing her beloved Artie.
Thank you all for the emotional support. Artie was loved so much, and will be missed.

On June 7th, Para Smith experienced a heartbreaking tragedy with her sweet dog, Artie.
Para is truly one of the kindest souls, and for years she has given her dogs the most loving and devoted home.
On top of so many other accomplishments, and being Para's best friend, Artie and Para were an incredible flyball team that they brought smiles to everyone who had the chance to watch them in the lanes.
On Sunday, Artie suffered a tragic accident while simply playing in the yard, something we all do with our dogs every day. Devastatingly, it was an injury he could not recover from.
Para is absolutely crushed and on top of all the sadness, she is also facing $6,000 in unexpected veterinary bills. We are trying to collect enough funds to cover paying Springfield Emergency Vet, and Tufts in Grafton.
Anyone who knows Para knows how deeply she loves her dogs and how much she gives to the people and community around her.
Para was hesitant to accept help, but as a new mom, with a new home, who has been going through such a hard time in her life these last couple of months, she could really use the support.
