"In September the Light Changes" -
Great book of short stories by Andrew Holloran. Recommend.
The titular story is about the gay set who spend their time in NYC and Fire Island. Decades ago. And it's amazing how so much is the same after all these years. "Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was" - David Byrne.
And in September, it's back to school, back to work and bck to FITNESS. Well, for many of us.
This time of year is not unlike January 1st. Many have great intentions of getting into the best shape that can before the holidays. Motivation is high. And then.... we either make that comittment to ourselves, or quickly fall off that wagon.
At this time of year, I'm usually at my birth weight of 6 pounds, 8 ounces ;-) I'm not mad; it is the fluctuation of seasons, its natural, and I'm usually pretty lean at this time of year. But like many men, a desire a bigger, more muscular physique.
My goal is to gain 10 pounds of lean muscle in the next 6 weeks. The last time I did this program, I accidentally gained 14 pounds. Oops.

Groups are generally 4 people, and they take into account your goals and your current level of fitness.
I started these in 2008 and have hundreds of great success stories.. If your my friend, FB or otherwise, you likely know at least a few of them.

I have made an exciting decision to get back to my educational roots in Physical Therapy and am considering a few options in the Sports Medicine and Manual Therapy areas.
