Mercedes has dominated the F1 championship since the hybrid era began back in 2014 and have won every constructors and drivers' title since. So it should come as no surprise that the Mercedes AMG One uses the same 1.6 liter engine as their F1 team, but will require modifications for road use due to the high idle speed used in F1. The AMG One will be a hybrid like many other hypercars, and have a power output of around 1040bhp. The downside of such big performance figures is the limited engine life span anticipated to be just 50,000km.
Mercedes will produce just 275 cars with a price tag of $2.7 million each, not bad for what is esentailly, a rebodied F1 car.
