There has been a change of venue of the memorial honoring the life of Fred Johnson scheduled for Saturday, October 25th.
Fred Johnson ran an after school unicycling program in a Manhattan Middle School teaching young people how to ride. Even in retirement, Fred would frequently attend unicycle meetings as well as the New York Unicycle Festival events. He continued to mentor club members to improve their skills.

The following is the message regarding the memorial venue change I received by his wife, Gretchen.

Due to an unexpected repair at the Center, we will have to change the location for Fred's Memorial Celebration. The new place is just four blocks away at 593 Columbus Avenue and 88th street. Go down a few stairs or a ramp to enter the building.
Come at 1 pm if possible. There will be coffee, wine and some finger food. The program begins at 2. I look forward to seeing you all on the 25th.
