The Staten Island FerryHawks are proud to receive the Atlantic League Outstanding Community Service Award — an honor that reflects what we believe baseball can do far beyond the field.
Throughout the 2026 season, the FerryHawks continued to give back and stand alongside the Staten Island community. From partnering with the FDNY to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those lost to 9/11-related illnesses, to supporting pediatric cancer awareness with Staten Island University Hospital, our ballpark became a place to remember, unite and make a difference.
We teamed up with the Northwell Brian Halpin Pediatric Cancer Center, supported our Director of Ticket Operations Liam O’Hara’s upcoming NYC Marathon fundraising efforts, brought the Shaolin Hawks to the field alongside the Wu Tang Clan to benefit the CLS , and took the field as the Staten Island Espressos to support the Italian American Baseball Foundation and its youth development initiatives.
These partnerships are about more than a game. They’re about using the game and our ballpark to giveback to our community to create meaningful impact.
We are proud of our organizations commitment to the Staten Island and NYC community. On behalf of the organization, we thank everyone on Staten Island who was part of bringing together this award.
