With three weeks to go, it is a closer ball game than the last couple years. Lots of big fish have been entered in the last couple weeks and many teams have won the largest bag of the week. Keep having fun out there, keep taking good pictures on your board and if you have any problems don't worry about reaching out. One team had a FD issue last night and you will see a picture of a picture if you look at everyone's photos. Time stamps were looked at, and if you/your team has questions reach out. It makes the host teams job so much easier to get it figured out before 9:00pm.

We have a 31" pike from the Fish Shticks as our largest pike of the year.

🌊 Little Pine Recap & Rush Lake Preview! 🌊

Saying last week’s weather was a "bit of an understatement" is putting it mildly! That wind on Little Pine was no joke (as you can see from the rollers in the photo), and it definitely threw a wrench in our plans for chasing the gravel lizards. 💨🐟

But true to form for this league, you can't keep a good group of anglers down. A huge shoutout to everyone who braved the waves and showed up—and a massive congratulations to the teams who actually managed to figure out the bite and find fish in those conditions!

With calmer waters on the horizon, the playing field is wide open. Will "No Name" hold onto that massive lead, or is someone else going to drop a heavy bag on the scale?

🎣 TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT! 🎣

The wait is over—the Gentleman’s League officially kicks off tonight on **Little Pine**!

We want to make sure everyone is ready to roll when the sun starts setting. Here is your pre-launch checklist:
* **App Setup:** If you’re struggling with the registration app or need a quick walkthrough, swing by the landing a little early. We’ll be there to help troubleshoot.
* **Dues:** Friendly reminder that **dues must be paid in full** before you can register any fish for the night. No pay, no weigh!
* **Questions:** Any last-minute rule clarifications? Ask them at the landing before we hit the water.

Let’s keep the 20+ year tradition going strong. Good luck to all the teams—let's see who puts the first big one on the board for 2026!

The "Gentleman’s League" of New York Mills is back for another year of "investigating" where the walleyes are hiding. We’ve been at this for 30+ years, so we’ve seen every lure, every boat, and every "the one that got away" story in the book.

We’re looking for a few more teams to join the Tuesday night grind. If you can handle a little trash talk at the weigh-in and know your way around a Lund, we want you.

New York Mills Fishing League – Adult Walleye League
We’re already starting to think about the 2026 season!
After another great year on the water, we’re beginning early planning for next year’s league. If you have any feedback from the 2025 season (what worked well, what we could improve, suggestions for lakes, rules, or events), we’d love to hear it.
The Rules Meeting for the 2026 season will be announced soon — at least one member from each team will be required to attend, just like this year.
Stay tuned for more updates as we put the schedule together. If you’re interested in joining the league or forming a team for 2026, feel free to reach out!

Tuesday 7/15, social 6 pm, meal 630ish at smith park picnic shelter in New York Mills the league will enjoy a potluck meal to talk smack, tell fish stories and distribute prizes and discuss next season. The league will supply hotdogs, hamburgers, and the fixings.
We will meet rain or shine. Bring your own beverage of choice. Children and spouses or welcome to attend. PLEASE RSVP today/ Monday morning to this group text with your team name and number you anticipate will be attending and if you know your dish to share if you wish. Attn Angers! Date change we are fishing tomorrow Wednesday 5/21! Please open your FD app to the HOME screen and refresh it. That will catch the date so you can enter fish tomorrow. To refresh: Place your finger about 1/3 of the way down the HOME screen and drag your finger to the bottom of the page and let go. The app will spin / reload. That's it!
