It’s opening week for adult softball in Mercer County. We will be hosting opening night on June 5th here in New Windsor.

To open the season, we are going to go all in on the events happening outside of the Diamond.

New Windsor Depot and Hootypuckers will be set up serving drinks and playing drinking games for everyone.

Lloyd’s Chuck Wagon will have their food trailer set up slinging food all night long. They will also have the non-alcoholic beverages for those who aren’t partaking in the shenanigans around them.

Both bars are sponsors of our youth baseball program. Without these kind of sponsors, we would be unable to provide the coolest jerseys and make all the field upgrades that we do every year.

With that being said, ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL will be allowed this year. If everyone carries 30 packs into the field on their shoulders again this year, the bars will not want to come serve beers anymore. And it’d be difficult for me to blame them.

If all goes well, we plan to do the same for the next game night in New Windsor in July.

New Windsor C-Ball (10U) coming out for their home opener looking good in their new “drip” as the kids say. Custom Under Armour jerseys for the boys, courtesy of our great sponsors who step up every year to make the jerseys happen financially.

Congrats to the boys for opening the year with a win. We look forward to the boys bringing those fresh jerseys around the league all year long.

**Bat raffle tickets are here**

Winner will be able to pick any bat they want up to $500 in value. This is offered to baseball, softball, and slow pitch softball.

We can do in person ticket sales, phone, or Facebook. We just need name and phone number for the winner, and can take ticket payments through our Venmo .

The proceeds from ticket sales will be directed into upgrades for the field for the 2026 season!!
