🌕 The "Almost Blood Moon"
This isn't your average partial eclipse. Earth's shadow will swallow up a staggering 96.2% of the moon at its peak. Because it is so deep, the moon will likely take on a gorgeous, deep copper-red hue, giving us an "almost" Blood Moon experience!
🗺️ Your Visibility Guide
Depending on where you are on the map, your view will vary:
🔴 East Coast & Midwest (Red Zone): You have the ultimate VIP seats! You will be able to witness every single stage of the eclipse from beginning to end.
🟡 Central North America (Yellow Zone): You are perfectly positioned to catch the spectacular maximum phase when the moon is at its reddest.
🔵 West Coast (Blue Zone): You will get to enjoy the early partial stages of the eclipse before the moon dips below the horizon. Even a small bite is worth the view!
👀 Quick Viewing Tips
Keep it simple: Unlike solar eclipses, lunar eclipses are 100% safe to look at with the naked eye. No special glasses are required!
Bring binoculars: While not required, binoculars or a telescope will make the red colors pop and reveal stunning crater details.
