If anyone is missing a certain type of chair or a very nice coat that you may have left at the park, please call the office and describe it. We have the two items. The number is 724-946-2560. Thank you. We really want to return them to the rightful owners!

Update on the Phillips School Road closing-starting Monday, July 14, the road will be closed to through traffic from State Route 158 to right before Marti Park's lower entrance. You can get to the lower park by coming in through town, then going down Phillips
School Road by the township building, or by going down Wilson Mill Road off of State Route 158 (that will be the detour I am assuming anyway), then turning left onto Phillips School Road. It should be closed for 45-60 days to replace the culvert and repave, but it will depend on the weather. The road will be blocked off at both ends so you will cannot to drive on it.

Since we are not able to have a craft show this year, we are asking for your help with a tax-deductible donation to help with costs of upkeep such as mowing expenses, basic items like soap, toilet paper, and we had to hire someone to clean a couple of days since the park is so widely used. We appreciate any donation, small or large, as they all add up.

Girl Scout Troop 10347, the girls in 8th grade at New Wilmington, have made a first aid box for the park for their Silver Award project. They will have a first aid demonstration on Wednesday night, May 28th, from 5-7 pm. There will be some craft making projects and snacks too. Bring your kids to learn some basic first aid while having fun!

A set of keys were found on the trail at Marti Park. If you lost your keys, please call the township at 724-946-2560 or message us on Facebook. You will have to describe them and let us know the make of your car. Or stop in the township building next week. Call first as the secretary is off Monday.

Don’t forget you can go to Wilmington Township’s municipal building to purchase tickets before the craft show. 669 Wilson Mill Road, New Castle. It’s right across the street from Marti Park. Also picked up a few new vendors. Always exciting. But remember, if you don’t pay Tracey at Wilmington township, you are paying a scammer! Call her to check at 724-946-2560!

Two more weeks till the craft show on August 3rd!
Taylor Engineering donated a Yeti Tundra Cooler, we all need one of those for outings and parties! We have a $25.00 gift cert. to Miller's Hardware and Rental, a $50 Gift card to Irons Mill Farmstead, $25 Rendo's Beer Dist. Gift Card and $40 in lottery tickets, Gold Star Cinema tickets and gift card, 4 - day passes for Keystone Safari, Grill Caddy with goodies and a free 20lb propane refill, and lots more. If you can't make it, come to the township building to purchase tickets or look around. M-Thursday, 7 am - 4 pm, Friday, 7 am - 11 am. 669 Wilson Mill Road, right across from Marti Park!

They keep coming! Starting Tuesday of this week you can purchase your raffle tickets or sign up for the silent auction at the township building if you can't be at the craft show on August 3rd! The building is right across from the park and is open from 7 am- 4 pm Mon.-Thursday, 7 am - 11 am - on Fridays! And remember to stop back as more baskets will be arriving periodically.
